$15 per hour for Language Comprehension Study in NEW YORK

NEW YORK UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY PAID STUDY —- Must be I8 years or older.

Name of study: “MEG Investigation of Language Comprehension”

Purpose of study: This study is designed to investigate brain responses to
language, via presentation of sounds, images and words.

Name of experimenter: Dr. Liina Pylkkfinen, NYU Department of Psychology

Location of study: IGT/NYU MEG LAB, 6 Washington Place, Room 284

Specific requirements: You must be:
At least 18 years old
Right-handed ,
A native English speaker (English is your first language) ‘5
No non-removable metal embedded in or on your body
No linguistic or neurological impairments

Type of activity: You will be presented with sounds, images, or words

either on the screen in front of you or v1a earphones.
You will then respond with a button press/naming
response after presentation of any of the following:
Word or non-word
Natural or non-natural English sentence
Simple image

Approximate length: Up to 2. hours
Remuneration: $15 per hour
